2022 Ford Edge

The 2022 Ford Edge has five trim levels: Edge SE, Edge SEL, Edge ST-LINE, Edge TITANIUM, and Edge ST. Besides performance features, these trim levels have several important exterior differences. The Edge SE is the basic trim with standard exterior features, including automatic high-beam headlights, 19-inch wheels, a black grille, black mirror caps, and body-colored bumpers.

The Edge SEL includes 18-inch wheels, a gray lower front bumper, black roof racks, mirror caps, and grille bars. The Edge ST-LINE features 20-inch wheels, black beltline moldings, unique front and rear fascias, and LED lighting with bezels. The Edge TITANIUM comes with 20-inch aluminum wheels and various exterior colors and material upgrades. The EDGE ST trim includes 21-inch wheels, vented front and rear brake rotors, and red-painted brake calipers.

Most models of the 2022 Ford Edge have a 250 horsepower, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, except for the Edge ST model, which has a 335 horsepower, 2.7-liter, six-cylinder engine. Additionally, the Edge ST model has a seven-speed automatic transmission, while all other models have an eight-speed automatic transmission. All models are all-wheel-drive vehicles with a towing capacity of 1,500 to 3,500 pounds.

The 2022 Ford Edge gets up to 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. All models come standard with independent front and rear suspension, AdvanceTrac with roll stability control, a four-wheel vented disc anti-lock brake system (ABS), and electric power-assisted steering (EPAS). Other performance features include traction control, torque vectoring control, post-collision braking, auto start-stop technology, and hill start assist.

The standard interior climate features of the 2022 Ford Edge include dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control (DEATC) and a cabin particulate air filter. Interior comfort features include a manual tilt and telescoping steering column, a front console with an armrest, a storage tray and two cup holders, an overhead console with a holder for sunglasses, and a day/night rearview mirror. Other features include dual-illuminated vanity visor mirrors, driver and front passenger seatback map pockets, a cargo management system, two 12-volt power points, front map lights, second-row dome LED lights, cargo area LED lights, and front and rear carpeted floor mats.

Standard safety features in the 2022 Ford Edge include a trademarked personal safety system, side-impact air bags, front and second-row safety canopy side curtains with a rollover sensor, an SOS post-crash alert system, a front safety belt reminder, child-safety rear door locks, and a LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tether Anchors for Children) system.

Other features include a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) with an individual tire pressure display, a rearview camera, a driver knee air bag, and a glove-box-door-integrated knee airbag. This vehicle also has standard security features, including a remote keyless entry system, a passive anti-theft system, and an illuminated entry system with a courtesy lamp delay.
