When it comes to using your smartphone in you all-new Ford model, you might not know that there's a way for you to integrate your phone into the Ford computer's interface without using an auxiliary cord constantly, which can be both dangerous an inconvenient. Introducing the all-new SYNC®3 system which includes Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, two of the most well-known smartphone integration apps out there! With the Ford SYNC®3 system, all compatible smartphones can be linked up to the Ford car's trip computer with many of the phone's apps being accessible to the driver.

How Does it Work?

Well, the SYNC®3 system is a much more intuitive system than you'll find on most and allows you to access all sorts of features on your new Ford model, such as volume control, Bluetooth, navigation (if installed) and the radio dial. The SYNC®3 system also has Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ for compatible phones as well as hands-free advanced voice commands for distraction-free navigation between apps. What Ford Vehicles Have SYNC®3?

Pretty much any Ford truck, sedan, SUV, crossover or hybrid has this system in their higher trims. The base trims of our vehicles have the SYNC system which is also very intuitive, but does not have Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™ capability.
